No. But to preach all that liberal bullshit and than stay in the closet is cowardly and unforgivable. Especially with AIDS crisis emerging. Now answer my question. If you are so pro gay why are you fan of a genre of music that has hated gays since it's inception and has only recently reversed discourse because it would cost them money to voice their real beliefs about gays and not out of any genuine change of heart much like Obama who I am sure you voted for and defend whenever your disappointed father tries to open your eyes at various holiday dinners.

Black music has defiantly regressed. Most aspiring black artists today have no knowledge of musical history, theory, or even the most basic instrument playing skills outside of maybe a keyboard. I know what region PE and every one else was from. My point is that back than the hip hop culture was very openly and proudly pro black even if they also focused on the negative at times(NWA, SOLO NWA Members, Pac, Bone Thugs). Todays trap rappers refuse to even acknowledge their blackness. I can't imagine a trap rapper preaching violence against police, saying the word "cracker", talking about BLACK UNITY as opposed to that we are the world bullshit, or saying something as basic as "black is beautiful". In the song I talked about earlier Moment of Violence a white artist sings a chorus which preaches flat out hate and revenge killing on the police. Not one trap rapper would dare have the balls to do something like that in this day and age. That's because those are Aftermath artist and Dre instills certain thought process and values into them that other labels don't. For all the hate and sellout talk he gets Dre is WAY more pro black than Diddy, Kanye, or Hov.

Exactly! These geeks love hearing those idiot trap monkeys talk about massacring black men, and flooding the community with drugs, but don't you dare insult Brucetina Jenner, or say sexist things about(white) women. Look at the recent TI/Hilary Clinton bullshit. TI has been talking negative ignorant bullshit for years, but the white media doesn't say a word until he speaks out against a white woman.

Overall Dre and the early west coast movement did more to empower black men and tell them to stand up against white people. None of that dee barnes poo poo matters. Elvis hosed Priscila when she was 14. Jerry Lee Lewis married his 14 year old cousin. John Lennon was a closeted homo who praised Ronald Reagan and beat the poo poo out of Yoko. None of your white heroes are clean so gently caress off.

You brought up regressive behavior and ideology before I did. Besides, a lot of those guys you mentioned have been criticized by media and general public for those things. Yeah, their fans don't give them poo poo for it, but Elvis fans are well known nutters. And who the gently caress said anything about white people? I'm not sure why you're making this racial other than your own lack of comprehension. It's not like Eminem ever got a free pass for any of the hyper regressive poo poo he did in this thread. If, tomorrow, there was a news headline about him beating Kim's rear end, people would likely call him out for being a punk. Also it's 2015, John Lennon possibly being in the closet is the least important thing about him, especially when there's other far more hosed up things that are unequivocally true that you could have brought up. Not only that, but I'm pretty sure Public Enemy and KRS-ONE were far more about empowerment than Dre ever was. Back when NWA was still together, they made it abundantly clear they weren't political, and that they didn't give a gently caress about being role models.

And I'm pretty sure that Dee Barnes would disagree that taking an rear end-kicking for doing her goddamn job "doesn't matter". Would you feel that way if she was family? Or if she was dumb enough to date you? Probably not.

I was listening to that Apple Music Beats One radio station a lot when it launched, and they played Cha Cha constantly, even though it was already fading in popularity. Like, literally multiple times an hour on some days. I only kind of liked that song to begin with, and it single-handedly got me to stop listening to Beats One for a while.

Of course, a few weeks later when I decided to try it again, what was the first song that I heard? loving Hotline Bling :argh:
