Trade me one of them. Both your qbs gonna be above average at the least for the next 5 years.

It's a tough thing for me to do. I think both Ryan and Dalton have extra value in dynasty. I could see a trade involving Freeman, maybe, but then I'd need to find another promising dynasty QB to sock away... and I'd presumably have to drop players, too.

Forsett and Freeman are literally the only players on your team I unreservedly like right now. Even Emmanual Sanders' value is in question given Peyton's struggles. And I'm too close to my salary cap to comfortably take Forsett at the $21 salary you're paying him.

So basically... I agree you need a QB but you're probably better off trading with someone else.

Freeman is too much for either of them in my opinion.

Forsett in a 2v2 trade could work if you would consider that.

If I had Freeman you could never pry him from me. He's EVERYTHING you want in a play in a dynasty league. $5 cap hold, young and always put up numbers. There isn't a single player that you'd trade him for straight up, it would take a serious haul to even move the needle.

Yeah, there are no open free agent periods. The two auctions are on wednesday morning and saturday morning.

You could make a trade with someone I suppose? A commissioner could quickly approve a trade.

Still the points for leader. Of course I'm still in second in my division.

I thought for sure Murray was going to get like 5 points while Eli and two Giant defenders went crazy, but it went the other way!

Well, keep in mind: the three division winners will advance to the playoffs, but there's also a wildcard match that will be between the two non-divisional-winner teams with the best record... with Points For as the tiebreaker. If we were to go to the playoffs right now, the two wildcard teams would be the Gridiron Chefs and Team McLean.

We are now entering Week 7, the halfway point of our regular season! This is a divisional match week: everyone is playing against another team in their division.

Can the 1-5 Placeholder Team Name upset the 5-1 1017 BRICK SQUAD? Will the 2-4 Awesome Cougars upset the 4-2 Former Kicker Ray Finkle?

Nobody has been eliminated from playoff contention just yet. And if you're feeling way behind, don't despair: even if you get eliminated from the playoffs, you can still conceivably win the consolation tournament, which brings a cash prize. And the bottom four teams going into the playoffs get the top four picks in next year's draft!

Get your waivers in, kids. There's still a lot of football left.

Got it.

There was an error on your tab of the spreadsheet: I had Dez listed twice, both on and not on your IR slot. This means your salary cap space was actually $37 more than shown.

I hope that didn't affect any of your decisions. And that serves as a reminder for everyone: please double-check your spreadsheet tabs periodically for any errors. The most likely error would be a player you dropped still being on there, or a player you picked up not being on there.

Obviously nobody will be penalized for making a decision based on an error I made, but accuracy is best and I'd hate for an error I made to lead to someone (for example) bidding less in a FAAB than they wanted to because they thought they were closer to their cap than they really were.

So far this year the lessons I have learned on how to be good are:
  • Try not to let your good players get injured
  • Try not to have your good weeks happen when you're playing a team having an even better week
  • Try to have your bad weeks line up with an opponent who has an even worse week

I hope that helps you guys out.

e. Here's the CHART OF INJUSTICE

TEAM PF	PA	W-L-T	HOME	AWAY	DIV	STREAK
Team McLean 941.3	872.3	3-3-0	1-2-0	2-1-0	0-2-0	W2

Gridiron Chefs 888.2	816.5	3-3-0	2-1-0	1-2-0	1-1-0	W2
Concord Concordes) 868.5	837.8	3-3-0	1-1-0	2-2-0	0-2-0	W2
Who Da Titoons? 846.9	693.7	4-2-0	2-0-0	2-2-0	2-0-0	L2
Percy Riot 834.6	793.6	3-3-0	0-1-0	3-2-0	1-1-0	L2
1017 BRICK SQUAD 822.3	830.8	5-1-0	4-0-0	1-1-0	2-0-0	W1
Ash Ketchum Gotta catch em	767.6	877.8	2-4-0	1-2-0	1-2-0	0-2-0	L1
First Down Syndrome 758.5	833.8	3-3-0	2-2-0	1-1-0	0-2-0	W2

Hawk Hunters 711.5	797.2	3-3-0	2-1-0	1-2-0	1-1-0	W1
Placeholder Team Name 711.5	820.7	1-5-0	0-3-0	1-2-0	1-1-0	L2
This is sorted in order by Points For; e.g., it's how the standings ought to be, if there were justice in Fantasy Football. Going by this chart we can see that 1017 BRICK SQUAD is a perfectly average team that has benefited by matchup luck, going 5-1 despite six teams having scored more points in the season so far but having worse records. We can also see that Team McLean has had some really raw luck, going 3-3 despite outscoring the next-highest team by 44 points. Only Ash Ketchum has had more points scored against them. Who Da Titoons are riding on an extremely poor showing by their opponents so far: they've had by far the fewest points scored against them, which accounts for their division-leading 4-2 record despite a fairly middle-of-the-pack season performance of 846.9pts scored. And last, Hawk Hunters have somehow managed a 3-3 performance despite scoring the same points for as the 1-5 Placeholders.
