Vintersorg posted:that bungie poo poo is crazy i can confirm it's all totally accurate from my bungie employee friends. they showed the supercut and the story was terrible apparently. you the player were sort of a fly on the wall doing fetch quests for the important people. so they threw it all out and redid the missions c/ping where they could. this is even why you can't skip cutscenes they all got hardcoded in real quick.
