I've played before, one big sprawling thing with two or three concurrent threads in the Game Room, and if there were any tactics whatsoever going on, I couldn't make them out. Meinberg was there, IIRC.

I thought of one strategy: if we lynch someone that, according to an investigation, is scum, and they do turn out to be scum, the person who did the investigation is more likely to be cop. So at night, when we're all playing the remaining scum, it's a good idea to kill the person who's more likely to be cop. But during the day, when we're all playing villagers, you want to protect the cop. We're basically quite literally different people at night and at day.

I guess part of the trouble is that currently, there quite literally aren't any scum to find. We're all in the same boat. So maybe it does make sense to ##vote nolynch tonight, and see if any better ideas emerge tomorrow.

I was hoping to save the no-lynch for a time when the roles were more certain and no-lynching was a strategy to further narrow the roles in case of a big ambiguity. Solely on the grounds that we got one scum result announced on them and no town results, ##vote Ghostwoods. That being said, dead players can still win if their team wins, town or scum, so anyone who doesn't want to keep posting/arguing about who's scum or not scum in this thread can raise their hand.

OK, we're back. Two things: 1) Something cocked up either in the save or my entry. A couple of people got their actions reversed and one somehow ended up targeting someone entirely different. These people have been notified. I cannot rectify the issue, but the changes are not game-breaking at this time - a couple of percentage points up or down on various axes. I will triple-check the input before proceeding again. 2) Due to the nature of quantum, you cannot investigate the same person twice. If you do, you won't get an investigation result. I got a not-scum result on imgay. Funny how trying to nightkill someone makes them increasingly likely to be town, but makes sense, since scum are incapable of targeting each other.
