You clearly don't know how America works, midwest corn is in everything. Cereal, toilet paper, carpet, your very own lungs, etc.

Here's one from the outskirts of Columbus, OH. I drove past it once for work ~5 years ago and the sign was advertising "Oriental night."

Also when I was a kid I got a "spy camera" from Ponderosa. They did a promotional giveaway as a tie in with the Bill Cosby film Leonard Part 6.

Edit: Notice that the Ponderosa is next to a title loan place. Recently Ohio passed legislation that reigned in payday loan providers so they have been replaced with a proliferation of car-title loan storefronts.

Stuff like piles of bail bond or payday loan places are the best surefire signs that your town is dying.

Jesus Christ, what part of Columbus is that in? I had no idea they were still around, I'm pretty sure the last time I ate at a Ponderosa was in the 80's.

I drive by there a lot and wonder how they've stayed in business for so long, another place I haven't been in since the 80's. I'm guessing it's mostly elderly people that keep it going? How about The Spaghetti Warehouse? Are they only in Columbus or are there others in the Midwest? They use to be okay, kind of a cool setting at least and still much better than the Olive garden.

Every other one I've seen is built like a regular restaurant and dressed up to look like a warehouse. That's the only one I know of that's an actual warehouse.

No

Have you really honestly driven through Mississippi and Alabama? Because if you had been there, you would know nothing compares.

I went to a Ponderosa on a lark not too many years ago when I saw one in like Montana or something...what I want to know is, are there still BONANZAs?

WOW

There are! And considering there are no Ponderosas in Montana, I must have gone to a Bonanza. Who can keep them straight edit: oh no Bonanzas either; North Dakota maybe

I've had A.J. Bombers, and they're not as good.

You should expand your burger horizons then, there are a ton of amazing burgers in mke. Oscar's is the best pub burger (same style as sobelman's), and it's larger and way cheaper. also get out bloodies are amazing!

dave sobelman's customer service motto is "the customer is always wrong and I'll prove it by responding on social media" lol also he lives near me and all his giant SUVs have "soblman" license plates and they regularly drive like assholes
