Human Resource Machine is by the World of Goo/Little Inferno team and it looks like a simpler take on a Zachtronics-style game.

Friends of More Mineral Town is the "girl version" of the original Mineral Town game - you play as a girl and marry dudes and there are some bugfixes here and there but it's pretty much the same.

Yes, you'll be able to play RE4 Wii entirely on the gamepad. Yes, you should play with wiimote/nunchuk if you can.

It's definitely more like the first couple games. First person perspective, demons don't level up, and fusion is pretty bare-bones.

Doesn't have the advantage of the follow-up version being called the MiiUmoto, but is probably more appropriate. Good choice.

Good news: Nintendo's announced adoption of the International Age Rating Coalition of game classification seems to finally be in effect, meaning indie devs can now get their games rated for several regions at once with far less paperwork at at a fraction of the cost of doing things individually. Nintendo still has individual lotchecks and language requirements for NA/PAL regions, so it doesn't guarantee simultaneous releases for every dev or every game, but it does mean you shouldn't have to worry about devs skipping/delaying releases in your region due to the cost of age rating for that region.

EDIT: for reference, it covers ESRB (North America), PEGI (Europe), USK (Germany), ACB (Australia), ClassInd (Brazil)

It's really only Atlus who are still bad for it these days. I don't know why they still have so much loving difficulty when they're owned by Sega who can do simultaneous worldwide releases easily.

The story is all over the place in the series so don't worry about it. It's not the best of the modern games but you can't go wrong at all at that price.

It's fine on both so just decide between 3D vs HD.

Also play 4 since that game is still amazing.

Contra Advance is an adaptation of Contra 3 that replaces the overhead stages with levels from Contra Hard Corps; it's the closest we'll ever get to a legit Hard Corps re-release but it's still a sloppy port that I wouldn't recommend anyone bother with.

Toki Tori 3D is apparently an enhanced port of the original GBC game, not the WiiWare/PC remake. Odd.
