zen death robot posted:yeah the vending machines at work and grocery stores around me use it but hell I went to petsmart to pick up something last night and their machine was capable of both chip and contactless but they left that poo poo turned off for some reason contactless is pointless the only places that do the card insertion that i've been to are target and walmart. most businesses don't give a poo poo and we are probably like 18-24 months from seeing super noticeable differences in how many places use it. apple pay's problem is that they need to start getting people to put stickers on the entrance doors alongside the other payment networks that they accept, or like the square ones.
