I mean in the first debate when Mumbley Ben started talking about tithes as a basis of government I thought he was batshit crazy but the moderators did nothing and his numbers started to skyrocket afterwards. Ben's already losing his narrative, at the last debate he said the tithe would be closer to 15% when the moderators pointed out that 10% would destroy the country.

I don't get why the media was so eager to jump on the "Trump is collapsing" bandwagon after one single poll with little evidence that it was actually a trend. Why are they so desperate to see Trump collapse?

The drama created from something like a Trump collapse also calls into question the party's viability. edit: The media will lose their ratings figurehead and reason for covering the GOP. Media heads will start openly attacking Republicans if they can't bring in the viewers after propping them up for so long with Trump.

Montasque posted:New IBD/TIPP poll: IBD, like Gravis, is a famously lovely pollster. We'll probably have to wait until Sunday or Monday to see good post-debate polls. The question is, is this poll going to be eligible for the FBN debate's eligibility? If so, this poll gets more interesting regarding the lower candidates. That chart implies everyone else is below Fiorina's 3%, which could be bad news.
