As for explaining the rituals, that will take a lot of time that I don't currently have (each one requires several tasks in beast mode to set up).

Oh jump thrusts, I dunno how well this is known, but if you land into a slide from a jump, you can slide in any direction. Lets you pull some pretty rad stunts and evasions.

So I stepped away for a few installments, esp. not really wanting to buy the not-IW IW installments (there's like 3 original IW employees left and none are vital), I was looking at this. So I have a few questions perhaps folks can help me with: http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-4/call-of-duty-black-ops-iii Why does the game have an 83 for metacritic, but a *4.6* for user score? Is the game actually poo poo? Is a specific port poo poo (I know about the lastgen consoles being pure poo poo, is that part of the factor?)? Or is this a case of a terrible game paying for good reviews? Second: As mentioned, is there a bad port for nextgen systems? Is the PC port decent? Is it horrendous? Guess I'm just looking for an opinion before I might jump back on with a CoD game, I miss some frantic random deathmatch. lol@metacritic lol@user reviews on metacritic lol@reviews for a cod game lol@pc cod I think that answers all the questions Black Ops 3 is a cool fun multiplayer game with moderately lovely netcode and bad audio mixing It's fine on either bone or PS4, but PS4 is the 'lead' platform, so if you care about getting dlc poo poo first, get it there. I would rank it as < MW15 and > BO5

My experience with the PC version so far is that it's a Call of Duty game. The ops are a bit blacker and there's probably more shaded polygons, but other than that it's the same. I've been fortunate in that I've had no problems with frame rates etc (in multiplayer), playing with settings almost maxed out on an i7 Haswell + 970. The only "port" issues I've noticed so far is that some of the default binds are incredibly stupid and you'll want to change them. Two of the goons I've played with actually play with controllers because they don't want to dick around with it (or just prefer controllers?). Yes, we do mock them but we accept them for who they are. I got the game from G2A and paid $40. If you decide to get it you can expect to receive a Call of Duty game and there's been a handful of us on mumble playing it and being bad. Speaking of which, it's really stupid that you can't tell the in game voice to use a different audio device. I can't give a serious answer about the PC version, I've considered buying it on PC to be a dumb thing to do since basically CoD4  Supposedly they're releasing mod tools and private server tools and unicorns and poo poo this time, but all I hear is people bitching about technical issues, hackers, and terrible player populations (this is distinct from PS4, where we're bitching about technical issues and lovely lag)

I can play it just fine on an i7 and a 970 so as long as you spend a lot of money upgrading your videogame + microsoft word machine it'll be good (probably).

They show which perk-a-cola is in that district's first area, which you can get to by going into beast mode, grappling up to an upper area and zapping a power box near some stairs. Red is Juggernog, yellow is double-tap, and green is speed cola I think. - There's a ritual item in every district's first area, and a ritual site in the second area. The central hub has both the ritual item and the grapple point to the ritual site. Once you know where the items are in each district you can usually grab the item and open the path to the perk-a-cola machine in the same transformation. - Whoever picks up the ritual item has to place it on the ritual site, so try grab it before any pubbies see it and get it if you ever want to get the rituals done. Same goes for the item you get afterwards.

I want my AK12 back, the KN44 is garbage The lag is worse than AW launch The boost jump /slide sucks and is inconsistent as gently caress wallrunning is dumb as poo poo THEY BROKE NUKETOWN Seriously, nuketown is even worse in this game, what the gently caress Specialists are loving retarded and a terrible design decision 500 points for a UAV? Campaign is ok I guess but boring as hell towards the last 1/3 verdict - 9/10, must buy

Man, I really like some of the maps in this. Redwood is one of the first CoD maps where I've actually started to develop a strategy to how I play it in TDM (take the stairs in the one building; it's such an easy chokepoint to hold), and I love fighting in the house in that one snow map (not the really big one, the one with the cars in it and poo poo). Also the aquarium is maybe the first time I've ever seen water used well in a multiplayer FPS map? What are y'all using on the assault rifle front? I like the burst rifle a lot, but I've been rolling with the ICR recently. It has kind of poo poo damage, but it has so little recoil that it's easy for me to get a consistent stream of shots into someone.

Like Nuketown more than most of the maps really goes to teams that know how to move as fast as loving possible across the map using the walls
