I didn't include shotguns because I'm pretty sure my rof number on the Brecci is wrong, but if I did, the Haymaker is near top tier at optimal (2sk) range, falls off rapidly from there, the KRM and Argus are bottom middle if they fail to 1sk, and the Brecci is near the bottom (but I believe that's wrong, I think it's actually between the Haymaker and KRM/Argus for its 2sk, and it has a more consistent 2sk range than the Haymaker).

There are also caveats out the rear end here, optimal range for some guns is like a hair outside melee range, and good luck consistently hitting full bursts, and it doesn't factor head shots, and it doesn't consider high caliber, rapid fire, suppressors, long barrels, blah blah. And lol if you think you can achieve ideal Vesper kill times at range.

ie, use these as tier lists to declare anything at the bottom poo poo tier and justify why you died.

This isn't the ideal way to show this, preferably I'd show it graded by range so you can see how different guns are better/worse at a given distance, but that'd take actual effort, and you aren't paying me enough for that

Guns in BO3 have a very pronounced damage stepping system, so at X range you'll take 3 shots/Y time to kill, but an asshair past that and it takes 4 shots/Y++ time to kill. This hits guns like the RK5 and Kuda particularly hard, and the KN44 to some extent.

(But yes, the XR2 owns, my first gold gun for entirely unrelated reasons I swear I believe it also reloads and moves faster than other ARs for no good reason, need to double check that though)

2 as mentioned, but as long as you aren't capping solo they last long enough. I get killed by getting shot, not blown up.

Also occasionally they still stop missiles so it's hilarious at the start of round 2 if they drop poo poo on B and it fails to kill you because of your lil' trophy.

e: there's definitely some sacrificing on this build, but this way you can carry smoke & a trophy which frees up other goons to run something else. Usually I cap and then switch over to something else after I get killed, it's not all that great anywhere else unless you want to camp like a boy scout (and it's pretty good for that with the LMG and if you pick your trophy back up)

We didn't kick you, you got dropped from the xbox party or something and everyone assumed you left. If it makes you feel any better, we went from a 6v6 game to 1 person dropping on that team, who was then immediately replaced by 5 people, so they had 10 and we had 6 and got crushed.

This, use what works for you.

Mostly it's useful to understand that "hey if my gun is slower and the other guy gets lucky or is good, I'll always lose that gunfight"

Ttk naturally ignores accuracy, so guns like the icr don't show well.

In general a faster ttk is preferable, but not at the expense of using a weapon that feels bad to you personally.

Ttk numbers are (usually) more reliable up close, but stable weapons can more consistently hit their ttk at a distance.

I will say I can't see the point of the hvk though...

The HIVE specialist ability is pretty cool. I think it's a one-hit kill, but there's a delay to it, so you can't necessarily use it to guard you from a specific direction, but it sticks around for a second after you die so you might be able to get a revenge kill :v:

So is the Brecci semi-auto shotgun worth using or should I just stick to the KRM until I get the Haymaker? Because the KRM owns fuckin bones and i've been using nothing else, but the fire rate has gotten me killed quite a few times.

Also, anyone tried the Argus yet? I cannot wait to level up enough to unlock it and use it, that thing looks crazy as hell :allears:

I did much better with the semi shotgun than the pump, personally, Its got a solid two hit range, just keep tapping them out. You gotta play to it's range advantage and either control closed spaces or scream around the map on a jetpack and walls coming at people like you're fuckin spiderman.

Like everyone said we didn't kick you - the game randomly drops people from parties and it takes awhile for it to actually drop them from being displayed in the group. Unfortunately with bigger parties this happens almost every match at the moment. We also had a fun bug last night in a 6v6 match where the entire other team quit out at half time so the game decided to add 12 people to the other team. The second half didn't go so hot for us.

I think everyone figured that it was actually broken. Because you could vote for nuketown twice, then vote random and nuketown would show again, followed by voting for it twice, then it happening in random, blah blah until everyone quits the lobby.

I fired up Blops a few weeks ago and played nuketown like 6 times in a row.
