I am still thinking Sinister Captain Marvel is a clone, even if she is the one who initiated the betrayal. Sinister kicking Maddy and complaining about her outfit was pretty amusing though. Also Maximus's "It's me you idiots!" seems to be aimed at readers who had not figured it out.

I loved the "IT'S ME YOU IDIOTS" scene. With the big narration building it up it basically read like Hickman mocking his own writing style. Also I guess one of the big questions coming out of SW now is who's gonna get Ultimate Thor's hammer?

Yeah it was Hickman mocking himself. The one-two page narrative buildup is something he does often and to just immediately have Maximus knock it off was pretty great. It was a nice "enough of this poo poo, let's start the action" moment. Secret Wars Too also has a fun Hickman joke.  Fun quiz: who says what in panel 3.
