I feel like this comic works because it's does a pretty good job of fusing its light hearted love comedy half and its hardcore sperglord power fantasy half. Both of halves are decently done, but the mix is really good.

Jee-Han, no :ohdear:

Out of the two of them, she's definitely the one who's hyping herself up for something to happen between them. I think there would probably be some chemistry if the Gamer's Mind wasn't keeping him kinda numb in the dungeon last night, but from Jee-Han's perspective I think it's just time to deal with another weird houseguest.

I hope she gets to meet Loli Teacher, though. Probably both of them will be outraged for different reasons.

First off, as far as I recall, Han Jee Han is 18 years old. I don't know if that counts as an adult in Korea, but he's an adult. That means he can live alone. So, it shouldn't really be a big deal. Pointing this out to a stranger shouldn't be a big issue.

Whether or not the teacher can tell that to anyone else -- I don't know. Essentially, though. He's talking about another adult, so it shouldn't be a big deal except for that he's the teacher of Jee Han's class, so maybe he should be more careful.

Second, she's the class president, so she may very well have a right to know about the home situation. Don't they send students to each other's houses with homework assignments and such if someone misses class for a lengthy period? They do in Japanese anime, anyway. Would only be natural that the teacher would mention the home situation, possibly.

Third, we are now setup for interesting things to happen in the future and a hopefully wonderful confrontation between Loli-witch and class president. I'm betting on the class president to win.

Fourth, the party niche the class president will fill is: Class President. What else did you think?

The teacher doesn't actually like Jee Han all that much and he has a vested interest in trying to keep him from dating his daughter.

I get the impression that he actually likes him, but doesn't want him to date his daughter just because he's an overprotective dad. I don't think he actually has anything against him (at least not anymore).

Yep, exactly. Once he goes inside the dungeon, he Observes an enemy and all of a sudden they start having a Charisma stat.

The interesting part, though, is that Charisma is exclusive to the dungeon. Later, he heads over to heal the injured Yunhon, and they don't have a Charisma stat.

And the artist has been kind of cagey with stat screens ever since the dungeon appeared, we've yet to actually see anyone's stats while they're inside the dungeon. So it's possible that he doesn't actually have a Charisma stat yet, or they're saving that for a later reveal or something else.

Edit: My guess is that the boss, or god, or whatever it is that's supposed to result from the dungeon will be a God of Charisma or something, summoned by the lonely nerds that decided to base a magical realm off a loving phone rpg. :v:

I can confirm that this is not a translation error. DLC dungeon mobs have a charisma stat, the dude he treated afterwards did not have a charisma stat.

Obviously, this does not preclude author error.

I'm guessing that since:

A) things inside the dungeon have a Charisma stat.
and
B) Jee-Han's party members can level like he does

We'll have a point where he realizes about it, tells everyone, and then smash-cut to all of his friends leveling like crazy inside the dungeon. Remember, Lolikeano stole the cosmetic slime, imagine what she'll do when she finds out she can just straight-up boost her attractiveness? :v:

You are assuming that the dungeon is on the up and up. Even the one Jee-Han made is linked to whatever the phone game dudes are doing, and it is possible that people have been dying in there.

This was what I was thinking while scrolling through this thread. Jee-Han can put points into a stat that only functions in the DLC dungeon and when that arc is over all those stat points are effectively lost. I want to see his reaction to that if it happens, especially since he is a cheat character.

Jee-Han subverts reality by observing numeric values for attributes which can't be quantified that way. Charisma then subverts Jee-Han's subversion of reality by forcibly adding something into his system.

I think I should get some sleep.
