So I noticed that Vladok's pipe is also his walking stick. This was in the comic over a month ago but I feel the need to bring it up because seriously it's just a great little detail.

I've been wondering how a blue demon could have stolen a key, and also why she was so unique when most of the blue demons we've seen are so similar looking. It seems dear Cio wasn't always blue.

I wondered if there was some way of faking being lower ranked, given she seems pretty powerful. Didn't occur to me they could demote. Now I'm more confused. But in a good way. This gosh darn webcomic.

New names may have been a manner of hiding after stealing that key. It's an interesting way of getting a new identity, both new names and a new appearance. And yeah, that one verse suddenly explains so much despite coming from a random character we've never seen before, talking about himself. It also raises more questions, of course, but still, that's a really neat way to pull that reveal.
