i think those services are for people who want to be foodies or something, but without putting any effort into it. you could eat out/get groceries delivered for less.

something like blue apron but subsidized as hell would actually be good for underemployed and lower-income families maybe, but blue apron itself is waaaaay too expensiveBadger of Basra posted:it's for "young professionals" probably that describes the people i know who use it Sharkie posted:i think those services are for people who want to be foodies or something, but without putting any effort into it. you could eat out/get groceries delivered for less. it's more for people who want to see themselves at eating "home-cooked meals," whether for the perception that it's healthier or because they think that's what they're Supposed To Do or whatnot

I wonder if it would be feasible for a neighborhood to pool together for meal services kind of like some do for yard services.

Ran into two other empaths at work yesterday within 20 minutes. One said she had never met another empath and it was good having someone who understood... I think I managed to clear her aura of negativity. The other said he could feel the negative energy given off by one of the employees I had to deal with. I was less affected by both situations (with the first empath who ended up crying after a little girl said she was old and the negative employee) than I have been by lesser events. Maybe I just have an overpowering calm and positive aura going...
