There was a link to it on the launcher. I'd link it but I'm on my phone at work. Looked like mostly a bunch of bug fixes to the new instances.

That's tough to guess. It required a lot of items that are fresh out and as a result, ungodly expensive. I would ballpark it at about 50 million but that's probably wrong.

This is the shopping list: http://www.garlandtools.org/db/#item/13094

The most expensive single component are the 6 Dravanian down trees that sell for ~3m each, but the airship brought back the mats for 3 and we were able to skip 2 more with an HQ+ result, so I only had to buy one.

Cassia blocks were also pretty annoying, since all the components are expensive and they require a CRP specialist.

I don't know how much it'd run if I were to buy the entirety of the mats from other players. I'll run the numbers later if I get the chance.

Thankfully I can handle this now, specialist has been an odd curve ball this patch.

if you can get past atma books the rest of it is pretty quick now if you're willing to just sit down and pound it out. since you're not going to be using the weapon for real content, you can just meld whatever is cheap and alexandrite maps give a guaranteed 5 now, you can just muscle it out of the way with poetics if that's your bag. the alexandrite from fate drop rate is still relatively miserable tho.

light farming is a joke now. sastasha unsynced gives 48 light outside a bonus window, 96 in.

zodiac dungeon drops are now guaranteed, and with heavensward crafting gear hqing the 50*** for turnins is far easier. you still need desynthesis for raw materials, and there's no getting around 1600 poetics and 80,000 company seals. if you rush alexandrite right here and mahatmas is where it bites you in the rear end and you'll need to do some hldr/main story roulette grinding.

mahatma farming got the same nerf light farming did, two sastashas will finish a single mahatma. one in a bonus window.

me and a friend started up with nothing a little more than a month ago and really only working on it weekends finished the zeta sunday

oh yeah the easiest way to do it is get a loving buddy because you'll want to kill yourself after doing sastasha unsynced for the 30th time alone

Especially when you're doing it on a paladin and that 3 min sastasha turns into 7 mins because "gently caress you paladin you get one aoe on a 30 sec cool down".

we were doing smn/mnk and our best time was 3:14 because that's about as fast as i (as smn) can sprint through the instance without stopping

mnk starts off gathering everything, i read the paper and scuttle onwards since guessing at corals is more wasted time than just reading it. gather everything at cutter's area, painflare the stack while he uses aether field, i hit coral while he wraps up stragglers who get around the aoe cap, brutalize cutter to 3 aetherflow stacks (painflare/tridisaster/fester) so you can deathflare captain without slowing down, pull to captain's door, painflare, get key open door, he kills the guy inside and gets the key while i painflare the next two dinguses in front of the other door, kill captain 2 with painflare/deathflare combo, tag the shalloweyes with bio since they're ranged, painflare everyone just inside the boss arena, tridisaster/fester while mnk goes ham.

you do something about 70 loving times and you wind up really narrowing it down

In 1.0, like 2.0, Yda has basically always been wearing the mask across her face and we've never seen her face, ever. There's nothing important about that (at least as far as we know) it's just something they like to hide. Hell, in 2.5's ending to the MSQ when the mask gets damaged it's just to make a big deal about revealing her eye colour.

I don't think there was any given reason there either

I don't think her occasional freakouts were ever explained either
