I think some awful Carson intern just wanted to make the map more narrow so they did some extreme grafting. Why they did that instead of, you know, making it slightly smaller is a mystery. Or it's a glimpse at a future when Carson rearranges New England geography to create a narrow ghetto for liberals in the new Conservative America.
