Oh hey, you could would probably know better than the other thread. Has anybody had any issue with the same sex marriage save on the Nexus? Is there a tool to min-max the graphics settings for lower end machines. Godrays will not loving stop auto-activating and I'm running a 560Ti. I think I can drop a ton of the occulsion effects and get high-res textures without getting slowdown.

Except for the space monkey. loving space monkey will not stay on the toilet. Wish I could report the same. For a couple of fast travels it tends to be okay, but after a while things'll start being displaced or clipping. If you're decorating an interior (As in, a dedicated internal cell like Home Plate in Diamond City) there aren't these kinds of problems, but for exterior cells where most people will make their houses or want to decorate their settlements, it's pretty much inevitable. Certain objects are more prone to it than others. Try standing an Antique Globe on something, fast travel to a destination a little distance away, then fast travel back to the settlement. It'll probably be clipping halfway through the surface. It might be dependent on system performance, but it happens more often than not after a little while, so turning the physics off on objects is invaluable if you want to ensure the effort you put into decorating doesn't go to waste.

Things I eventually want mods/fixes for: - Settlement building: just, literally improve everything because it's all painful - maybe something that increases the hp/defenses of the followers (even with perks and mags), the ai is always really stupid and having to stimpack their rear end during a fight is no fun. If it were me, I'd double their defenses. - share junk between all workstation/benches, the courier thing is kind of lovely - better way of assigning settlers to jobs, tracking who's doing what - more armor pieces, and/or better variations - more variations on power armor, either mods or colors (ideally I would like to see some model changes if you go for a leg or arm mod) - oh god, a cape for your power armor would be pretty sweet I can't think of the other stuff I was hoping for right now Oh right, is it possible we could have a save cleaner at some point? apparently my save files are 10mb each now... I'm not really using any mods either other than texture mods, I'm using the hacking/lockpicking/increased-legendary-spawns. It kind of worries me given other beth game's behavior with the slowly increasing file sizes.

Any word on working 21:9 aspect ratio fix? The game is playable, but some UI elements and HUD glitches ruin my immersion~~ Power armor HUD looks equally bad and most of UI darker green background shadings are either incorrectly sized or located completely outside the intended UI area.

I did not realize how insanely awkward the game design was until spending 10 minutes going "WHAT THE gently caress LET ME BUILD BEDS IN THE BASE!" before realize I had to manually place them in the "zone" myself rather then building them like in an RTS and they appear in the appropriate spots. I'd like a settlement mod that makes checkpoints give a defense bonus based on how well equipped the person manning it is. So there is literally any reason to build them over a million turrets. Will probably need Geck though.

-Troika- posted:I would like to be able to upgrade clothing to actually be half decent armor so that I don't have to take away Piper's trenchcoat if I want her to live. You already can! Do a few quests for the Railroad and Tinker Tom will teach you how to add ballistic weave to certain outfits. Piper's trenchcoat is one of them. At Armorer rank 4 you can add Ballistic Weave Mk.5 that adds like 90 damage and energy resistance. (You can also add this to most underarmors, and still wear armor over them, for maximum defense. It's more than a little overpowered.) Actually, this is my big wish for a mod, which I've already discussed over in the main Fallout 4 thread: I want to be able to add ballistic weave to any outfit. This would require a mod that added the "lining" upgrade slot to every outfit. At the moment, it seems entirely arbitrary what you can and can't add ballistic weave to. Piper's trenchcoat and MacCready's duster have lining slots, but the Drifter Outfit and Preston's duster don't, even though they have similar base stats. There's even an item in the late game, a certain character's unique coat, that has a lining slot even though it natively has 50 DR. There's no rhyme or reason to it at all. I'm not sure if it's possible to change what upgrade slots an item has before the creation kit comes out, but if it is, I'd buy a beer or six for anyone who could do it.

I have an azerty keyboard, so the first thing I did was rebind forward to Z, left to Q and vats to A. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to carry over into menus like the computer terminal interface or the settlement construction menu. In those menus moving left/up is simply impossible. How could this be fixed?

I think what I'd like to see would be a mod that adds some power armor weapons to the game, in the same kind of vein of the crazy boltguns from Warhammer 40k (I know the Imperial Guard use them too, but shut up ok), with the option to make certain big guns Power Armor only, like the minigun and such. Speaking of the minigun, a mod which dramatically reduces weapon recoil when using power armor would be super. I want to lean on that loving trigger and not let off until there's nothing moving. Friction posted:Any word on working 21:9 aspect ratio fix? The game is playable, but some UI elements and HUD glitches ruin my immersion~~ Sup fellow 21:9 resolution haver, welcome to the first of the first-world problems you shall face in . Fortunately the fixes are pretty easy and from what I can gather it's simply Bethesda not giving a poo poo about anyone that doesn't have a 16:9 or 16:10 monitor, as people with 4:3 monitors also get screwed. Anyway! You need 3 things, two mods and a .ini tweak. Ultrawide Resolution Tweaks Scope Black Box Fix for Ultrawide Power Armor HUD Fix for Ultrawide This should set you up for cool times with 21:9, but note that rain effects with the power armor will still only affect your view in the center, as it doesn't get stretched out like the rest of the HUD. Other than that it works wonderfully. Considering how easy this is (especially the tweaks for power armor) leads me to believe that Bethesda just couldn't be bothered.

Do you have the perk that lets you see their level in vats? if they are all low level nothing you do will fix it besides nerfing your own damage, you can always use the lower PCGame versions as well, I think there is a 50, and probably a normal. Levels in Fo4 literally just add HP to things.
