What about just getting rid of the sandwich picks altogether? That involves you doing LESS work.

Just to sort of measure things: If I tell you I'm offering a pick swap (your first rounder for my sandwich pick), what from my roster would be enough to make that trade?

Not saying that I'll do it, but I'm currently weighing some options.

If Goog winds up not accepting my offer, I could give you solid starters at C (Jimmie Foxx but he can play C acceptably), OF, SP, and a 4th rounder. I could give you an arguably starting-quality RF as well but we'd have to talk about it I think.

e: my 2B platoon is also available if you'd be interested

Alright, gently caress it, I might as well just throw it out there - I'm willing to at least try and trade for any pick that is currently on the clock as long as 2004 Pedro is still available. The main piece in that trade will be my sandwich pick, and check my roster for something that you want added on to that.

If Hulka is making a play, I can't in good conscience at least try too, since I have that great value in the sandwich pick.

My needs currently sit at (again, in order of how much I need replacements at each position):
-SS
-Short Relief, Middle Relief, and/or Setup
-DH
-CF or LF (pardon the earlier typo)
-C
-SP (just one now)

How about '61 Stan Musial (or '94 John Olerud if you'd rather have him) and '89 Greg Maddux for this pick?

Do you have a spreadsheet?

I have a Riggs Stephenson who can play right, left, or second. He's a little old but hit really well in a pitcher's park last year in the Subpar League and his bat has always been pretty good. I also have Eric Davis who can play center/right and probably left (I'd need someone to look him up in BBM to see for sure) who hit well last season.

Other pieces:
Billy Herman (22 years old) - 2nd (can play 3rd a little)
Stan Hack (22) - 3rd base
Mark Koenig (2nd/short/3rd)
Kiki Cuyle (rf/cf)
Hubie Brooks (ss, 3rd, rf)
Mickey Tettleton (catcher)
Lou Whitaker (36 years old) - old but has been one of the better 2nd basemen in the SL historically speaking
Tony Phillips (ss/2nd)

Tadashi, I have no idea if you'd be interested, but I have a 1994 Robert Alomar that's currently my platoon partner for 36 year old Eddie Collins. Alomar historically did a bit better facing righties than lefties, though, so outside of "have a functional 2b to keep Collins from dying" he's not the best partner. Old Riggs would make a more interesting partner.

So:

Are you at all interested in Alomar? My only other tradeable pieces are Rafael Palmeiro or Babe Herman (forget their ages, but they're both like 28-30 or so.)

There's a later post, after my deal with Hulkamatt, I've got 2B and RF covered. Also I have a spreadsheet (it's up in the draft sheet, with the rest of my contact info). More importantly, though, all those players are pretty bad, and I checked your spreadsheet, you don't actually have anyone that is both good enough that I could start them, and also in my price range (I mean, of course I'd love Rogers frickn' Hornsby at SS, but I don't have anything that could match him in trade). Sorry.
