Joshuu could be redeemed as a character and I would be down with seeing him develop, but if Araki was struck by lightning and the last page of Jojo was Soft and Wet beating the poo poo out of him I would consider it a perfect ending to the series

I also like he observant he is about everything. He grasped the situation on Shakedown Road faster than Josuke did, even though he ended up on the wrong end of that and he came the the right conclusion regarding the Lambo instantly, though he was talked out of it because Jobin didn't think it could possibly be true. Like, there's a wise and observant brojo hiding inside that kid, but it's absolutely buried in poo poo.

Even the better members of the family have some pretty lovely qualities, due to their wealth and superhuman abilities. It's kind of this dark mirror to the Joestars, who rarely if ever came across as spoiled. Of course, the Higashikatas are still a wonderful bunch of characters. This suggests her life so far has been pretty okay and Jotaro hasn't spent most of his life away fighting Enemy Stand Users, It seems reasonable to assume that that isn't the SBR universe with all that entails, and makes for a much better ending for the original Joestar saga

Or they could just be regular people in the SBR universe. Last we saw they were in Florida, halfway around the world from Morioh. I always figured Irene wasn't a Joestar really, she just had the birthmark because of gravity or something, the same reason she's still rolling around with Hermes even though never ended up in prison.

i can only assume that they're going with a more streamlined art style to begin with, because even though they were pretty faithful with stuff like changing iggy's looks in stardust crusaders it'd be way more jarring to start off with the brick shithouse look in arc 4 and then smooth it out later on. so josuke will look slimmer than his predecessors (not saying much) and jotaro will probably be less ripped and have more of his bulk come from his coat.

I don't think there was ever really a debate to be had about them emulating the art style change. Shows struggle to stay on model anyway, having several sets of models to stay on isn't a realistic expectation.
