The best I can tell you is that I once commissioned game art from a guy who had previously been doing dragon porn for furries. He gave my projects his full attention and "couldn't take other work" while working my pieces.

During university he did a few but wasn't too successful, he ended up self printing them and though folks always liked them he never made any real money. At some point, I'm not sure how, he ended up doing a bunch of furry porn for something to put gas in his car and it sold great. The next time I bumped into him he told me in a sort of apologetic voice at the last con his signed art of squirrels with giant breasts and dicks had really solid well, especially the autographed ones. For the first time in his life he could pay for his apartment and his utilities using the craft he loved. Even his old stuff was getting more hits and sales from furry fan overflow then it had on its initial run. He had recently done a couple more issues of one of his cyberpunk comics to pretty good reviews. Basically my buddy was genuinely unsure if he was selling out or not.

Holy gently caress balls, those tron minis are awesome. I have to try something like that with my infinity or something. I love painting black and I hate highlights, should be perfect. drat, it makes both the stupid suit look cool (though not having arty on the back probably helps) and the shield walls passable. By the way, Zvezda's LGMs weren't the first ones, although they're the only ones with a cat
