I think it's that most of the San Fran guys are just tiring to listen to, frankly. Dan is the most one-note man of all time besides probably his dad, and as much as I love brad and jeff, they also basically do the same set every single time a mic is on.

Oh man I forgot part of the reason I stopped listening to this is that besides all the people on the show saying "objectively, the game" and so on even though it doesn't make sense, but also the emails are extremely bad and do the same things.

I listened to the 2012 This Year Collection of them and liked it and then tried to listen to recent individual ones a little later and especially the Bombcast is just rear end. But this one was pretty epic since it starts with Vinny saying he was in a store bathroom thinking about what it'd be like if when he got done blasting a monster turd in the toilet and walked out all the people in the store would be there applauding him.

People don't ask Jeff about his personal history enough anymore, like the housing stories about stealing doors to replace the ones they smashed off the hinges or having too-large parties somewhere in a field. That kind of thing was always the whole point of listening to the old West Coast Giant Bombcast, to me. probably because Ryan was the one who knew all those stories and would be able to reference one of them if it came up. RIP.

Jeff is much improved by having the east coast crew to bounce off of instead of being stuck with Brad and Dan. tumor looking batty posted:they have a better rapport somehow imho Very true, they flow really naturally and seem to enjoy each other's company. East coast is also much more diverse in terms of what they want out of games and their involvement in the industry which lends itself to more interesting discussion.
