You should do a comic about how Washington DC sports fans only give a poo poo about their loosing record sucky first place football team and are completely ignoring their dominant kick rear end first place hockey team. All my office wanted to do today was laugh about the cowboys fan that got stabbed after the game. Nobody cared about the Caps magnificent shootout performance last night after overtime.

I just can't really get into hockey, the puck moves too fast to see well and it can zip across the rink in like 1 second. Football is generally more paced, like baseball, so you see the progress and have time for your drunken mind to get pumped up in anticipation, then after a drive you have a few minutes to calm down/pee/chat with friends/whatever.quote:If the Ravens win, I will draw Matt Schaub riding a Raven. I agree Hockey is extremely chaotic and fast paced but I did start having an easier time watching it when I stopped looking at the puck and started trying to look at how the players were setting up

Eventually you'll pick up on it yourself and it's easier to find the puck. e: It's kind of like the advice to take your eye off the ball in football or other sports, except it's almost required at first unless you grew up with the game.

Hockey would be good if instead of massive padded suits and skates they wore tank tops, shorts and sneakers. And if they made it 5x5. And made the net smaller, circular and 10 feet in the air. And made the ice hardwood. And replaced the puck with a big orange ball. What I'm saying is don't watch hockey, watch basketball.
