Has there ever been a single report of somebody actually flying the ISIS flag in the U.S. anyway? I live in the north and I've seen Confederate flags here and there despite people crying that they're being banned but not one ISIS flag like...ever.

William Richard "Bill" Shorten is one of the worst-polling opposition leaders in a long time. Labor Right, the faction that allowed him to take the role of opposition leader, has essentially become a copy of the neoliberal Liberal Party. Unfortunately for Bill, though, he doesn't have the charisma and perception of competence that Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull does. Politically, he is a completely forgettable man. Good. gently caress those places. They set up en masse in poor neighbourhoods and prey on the desperate. It's been an issue where I bought my house, and the city is considering legislation that forces them to be a certain distance apart. I posted about it on Facebook, because there's three in a single city block along with two pawn shops just down the street from me and I would love to see them go in favour of legitimate businesses. Someone argued with me that they're necessary for people who need a few extra dollars before their next paycheque, but he doesn't seem to understand that they charge astronomically high interest rates and just make the problem worse. They're not altruistic by any means, they're not in it to help people, they're just profiting off the poor in the easiest and fastest manner they can. Make them the majority business in the area and you just end up with a severely impoverished neighbourhood with no hope or future. Banish them all forever.

I had the chance to read the fine print in an ad for a payday loan place recently. The maximum they can charge in British Columbia is $23 for a $100 loan for 14 days. This comes to an APR in excess of 550%. The worst credit card I ever heard of charged 28% annually and the $23 rate was imposed by legislation that reduced the amounts they can charge. Being poor is expensive and the whole system is designed to keep people in crushing poverty.

Because the tragedy of an innocent American man having his gun wrongfully revoked is far more troubling than any number of innocent refugees being forced back into their homeland, where they will most likely die, to a modern American tea-partier like Muir.
