Men having facial hair has been a thing for literally the entirety of the human race and it wasn't commonplace for all men to be clean shaven until the early 20th century. Maybe not the best comparison, but complaining about beards on men is like complaining about women wearing their hair down versus up in curls/braids/perms or something. Instead of complaining about beards, why don't you complain about smedium shirts.

TBH facial hair is about the only thing about that generation that doesn't bug me. My father always had a big beard when I was growing up through the 70's and 80's WAY before it was cool. I always wanted beards to come back.
