I'm worried about the son. He's a boy in a family of women that haven't been treated right and ditched.

By the way, I think tonight is the start of a filler arc in One Piece, so if you want, you could go to bed now

I've got big manly tears in my eyes. It was an absolutely beautiful series and it's one of the few shows I've seen this year where I can say I feel stronger after having seen it. Thanks, Michiko and Hatchin. livingfruitvirus posted:Cross this show off the list. That's a real shame. I guess I'll have to watch that on my own time, then. Crabtree posted:I'm worried about the son. He's a boy in a family of women that haven't been treated right and ditched. Speaking as a man of 28 who grew up without a father figure (or a grandfather figure) in my life because of similar situations that the main characters went through, I've got a lot of hosed up problems with my confidence levels and grew up largely uninterested in sports and the like, but I like to think that I'm a lot more empathetic than most guys. It's unfortunate, but in this day and age, many relationships don't really last too long.
