STAR WARS SPOILERS HERE! DON'T MOUSE HERE IF YOU DON"T WANT TO READ A BUNCH OF STAR WARS SPOILERS BB8 contained the coordinates to Luke's lightsaber that is on the ice planet, where the First Order is looking for it. The Resistance led by Poe Dameron attacks the First Order base Starkiller as a diversion tactic to allow Rey, Finn, and Han to find Luke's lightsaber. They find it in a cave but Kylo Ren finds Rey and Finn and demands it. They refuse so he corners them and Finn tries to fight, fails miserably and gets his hand chopped off. Rey's "force awakens" allowing her to force grab the lightsaber and fight Kylo but she still loses. Kylo takes Luke's lightsaber from her. Before he can kill them Han Solo shows up in time with his blaster to attack Kylo, hitting him but just pissing him off. Kylo (now wielding Luke's lightsaber) just kind of walks up to Han Solo and stabs him through the abdomen. The big reveal is that Kylo is blind (hence the mask) and doesn't know that he has done. He crouches over Han's body, suddenly realizing who he has "killed" and puts his head down and weeps. General Snoke arrives by shuttle and walks up to him. - "Don't get sentimental." Kylo leaves without killing the others for some reason, leaving Rey to grieve. This plays with another big plot point in that Maz Kanata sees the past and the future from the eyes of the people. The final scene with Luke is General Snoke giving him the Skywalker lightsaber, which technically is his in the first place. More spoilers: General Snoke is very old and his origins are unexplained, but he's not the big bad. Darth Vader is alive (or at least his body is). Luke tried to burn the body but it didn't burn. The First Order worships Vader and he speaks to them from the beyond, they don't know if he's dead or alive or just a spirit. Luke is guarding his father's body in exile. It's not clear if Luke is aware of what's going on. PLOT DETAILS OF STARWARS ABOVE! CAREFUL OF THE SPOILERS

alright it was quite good i thought. there's some really weird pacing going on in parts, and a silly love story which i'm 99% sure was not in the original book (though i'm going to have to go back and read it to remember what is/isn't in it) but thankfully doesn't get too obtrusive, also they reveal the overlord at the very end of the episode and the makeup/costume looks really loving cheesy but charles dance is great and colm meaney is in it and he has a bad time, because it's colm meaney in a science fiction show, so of course he does

Ep2 of Into the Badlands: Show still lacklustre, wire-fu fight scenes still a lot of fun. Faint praise, but if you're absolutely stuck for something to watch, try this for a couple eps.
