Dumbish question. Had to have a pet put down yesterday. I lost a ton of photos in a hard drive crash a bit over a year ago, including most of the pictures of said cat that I had. There's one photo that I'd like to have more than anything. I'm 99% certain that I posted it in a prior "cute pics" thread. Anyone have links to them? I'd like to look through them to see if I can find it. Most likely uploaded to imgur, but it doesn't appear that I was logged in at the time so it's not tied to my account there. Is there a way to locate the old threads? I'm crap with the "Search the forums" thing. Bye friend. Edit : Found one at least. http://archives.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3538389 Edit 2 : Jackpot. VVVV - thanks. Found it at the same time, but thanks. It's exactly what I was looking for. Tony Phillips has a new favorite as of 18:50 on Dec 18, 2015 |

That's rough I found this, which I think could be the one you're looking for: If it isn't, I searched for: userid:92179 before:"9 months ago" intitle:"cute". Pretty self explanatory so try modifying it to get the right one.

I had two cats who would always try to get outside only to be thwarted by the concrete driveway that they had to roll around on. Whenever they got outside I would have a 5 minute window where the concrete kept them entertained enough for me to snatch them. Still managed to pick up flees on one of those driveway adventures smh.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRP2ydThtsw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIc03WcW2pE Cockatoos can have relaxed and lovey moods, but their frequency seems dependent on the individual bird and the home it's in. Gotcha here knows how to unwind.

He'll beg to be let outside, and when we finally do, he will go out onto the deck, look around, turn around and come back in, then sit in front of you and look up at you with big sad dog face that says "Cookies?" My dad falls for it every goddamn time.

My dog I grew up (lab retriever) with would always flip his poo poo when the mailman came, barking, jumping, absolute terror, to the point where replacing broken blinds was a normal thing for our front door. One day my mom suddenly hears the barking stop and thinks "oh poo poo!" Runs upstairs, and the dog is on the porch, happily standing there and wagging his tail like " HEY THERE GUY!" as the mailman's basically making GBS threads himself over a friendly dog.

She jumped the wall in the back garden, got into the neighbour's garden and then ran off. My dad spend hours looking for her, then he got back and...the dog was sat in front of the door, waiting for him.

My coworker was just telling me about her husband's cairn terrier, who chewed through three layers of boards they'd put over a hole in the fence just to run around to the front porch and sit there waiting for them. Just proving he could do it, I guess.

So, it's getting late-ish in the year, Christmas is crawling forwards like it's in slow motion, and I found two more pictures of my dad, so I figured I'd share with all you wonderful people once again. So, this old throwback from Autumn 2005 Shows off a rather neat slice of my family; going from left to right, there's my Dad, his Mom, my older brother, my great-aunt, and my great-uncle. With my recently-passed pooch in the foreground. My Great-uncle and his wife are still alive at 95 and 93, and they still go jogging at least 5 kilometres a day. He also makes Customized wooden models of cars, trucks, and construction vehicles that are fully articulated, as showcased in these two gallery links. http://imgur.com/a/d1tFD http://imgur.com/a/lxTVi And, from Christmas 2007, roughly 10 months after his 60th birthday. That was 6 days after a liver biopsy and RF ablation killed his first run-in with liver cancer, and the biopsy needle had scraped a rib, so it hurt to smile and laugh. Still, he loved every moment of having his family around, and, as you can see, giving him a good Ritter Sport and a new novel was an easy way to keep him occupied for a few days.
