Urine they don't culture as its dead/bits of borrelia being picked up by PCR. Borrelia positive urine samples tended to coincide with IgG positive ImmunoBlot results suggesting a longer period of infection. Yeah, a good friends partner has lyme, and is looking at shelling out $30k to go to germany for treatment. What she has been through, and is still going through, is loving horrifying.

Merry Christmas, Auspol! Show you care for the less fortunate by giving a present to an asylum seeker. The best part is, it'll be sent back to you unopened so it won't cost you anything except postage! I'm sending them a copy of Bloodborne.

quote:Malcolm Turnbull was NOT elected as Australia's Prime Minister. He has already signed two crucial UN treaties that Tony Abbott probably would not have signed on for, viz Paris climate "action" and Agenda 2030. Please note, the UN does not operate democratically, so does NOT represent the People of the countries in the UN. It is largely the UN's selections. Please note the extraordinarily high number of Socialists and Communists within the upper ranks of the UN. In reality, the UN is the body of the International SOCIALISTS. Not being a true International body, it is effectively a foreign power. Under Section 44 of the Constitution, bearing obedience, allegiance or adherence to such a body automatically makes one ineligible to sit in the Federal Parliament. Malcolm Turnbull should actually be behind bars for disregarding the Constitution.

Yeah only ever driven through Wye River, but it, and all the surrounding area seems nice. On the bright side at least now a fires gone through there it will probably be a while to the next one, and so far no ones been confirmed to be injured. Although apparently the CFA is still worried about Lorne, and some people have decided not to evacuate because I dunno they put little value on their lives or something. At least its on the beach so if the worst come they can just swim a bit out and should be okay. .

It was 2015’s most controversial piece of marijuana-themed headwear and graced a dozen front pages — now it could cost eBay thousands of dollars. The Sydney activist Zaky Mallah is suing the online auction group for $30,000 for delisting the “weed hat” he wore during his appearance on ABC’s Q&A program, according to documents lodged with the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal (Ncat). http://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2015/dec/24/zaky-mallah-sues-ebay-for-delisting-his-weed-hat-with-magical-powers?CMP=soc_567

Craziness, we've been holidaying at the Wye foreshore park for around 20 years, last year we decided to push our time back to end of Jan/start of Feb to avoid the school holidays, otherwise we would have been right in the thick of it. There are a bunch of season long people who have been going for for a long long time who are all elderly now. I hope they got out in time. They were there for the floods in the 70s that took caravans out to sea as well. Hopefully everything is returned to some state of normalcy when we head down and those tourists dollars can flow in again
