most of the korg apps, from my experience are close to what they emulate. i love loving around on my kaossilator pro, but on the go the iKaossilator app actually has more features to it.

well, it's definitely fun to experiment with and great with other modular or semi-modular friends (or in my case a shitload of foogers). it does have that moogy quirk where the low end drops off when you increase the resonance. i haven't gotten as much use out of the sequencer as I probably should as i hate having to refer to the manual to do a lot of things.

My oscillator (mixer) is a sick filthy nasty piece of poo poo (it crackles). Has anyone here got any doepfer A-138 mixers? I've got a few in the modular that I'm slowly building but two of them are crackly when I turn the knobs...do I need to send them back or is there something I can do to fix em myself? I've already sent one crackly mixer back but either it just got sent straight back to me or I got another lovely one cos it crackles also

I've already sent one crackly mixer back but either it just got sent straight back to me or I got another lovely one cos it crackles also crackles when you turn it just means there's moisture or other garbage (which is normal) in the potentiometer, you fix that by turning them all the way left then all the way right like a dozen times. the one you sent out got sent straight back because, as an adult human, you should know this already. if the problem persists, open the case and make sure that the solder joints on the potentiometer are good (it doesn't wiggle when you try to wiggle it), if it does wiggle just retouch the joints.
