To add to that if it's Tacticals you're queuing for queuing as heals won't get you into a FP any faster since there is no matchmaking. Tacticals are first come first serve. If you're talking about anything above Tacticals you'll learn the answer to your question real quick.

For real though I don't understand why the queue doesn't auto-select your role...it's not like hybrids are a thing anymore and the tech is there with the Ranked queue. I assume  is the answer.

Something weird happened to me, I can't seem to level past 50, the xp bar is just one XP shy of 51. What gives? I thought all the expansions and stuff got released for F2p and preferred status folks.

I gave up on my friends ever coming back to Prophecy of the Five and moved my 65 to Jedi Covenant. I'm in game as "Dekkalia" and bothered Sardikuar and Nastrella about an invite (sorry to both of you), but I'm gonna post about it here too.

Hour-long run of False Emperor tactical with three goobers who constantly killed everything in the wrong order and needed on everything topped off with me accidentally quitting the group early because I was so eager to get the gently caress outta there (and because I'd assumed one of them had activated the console but of course all three of them were just kind of running around it not actually clicking on it) so I didn't get credit.

If you join the 'TNGchat' custom chat channel and ask around and you can probably snag an invite to 'Fleet Maintenance', which is the goon alt-guild... I'll remove some people that haven't logged on. As always, if you have an alt that you'll never play again, please recover them. Also, if you invite someone please make sure you set a guild note with their SA name. If you don't have a note, ask someone to add. When I clean up the guild and we don't have inactive members, no notes are the first to go.

Logged in for the first time since launch to use my KotFE chapter 1 trial. Rolled up a new level 60 character (my abandoned launch character hit 27 before I quit). What in the holy gently caress is going on? The level 60 returning players tutorial is terrible, it literally just adds a million skills to your character ever few minutes without any explanation whatsoever. I think I'll just subscribe, play through the new story stuff and peace out. It looks like there's way too much poo poo in the game to properly jump back in now.

The game is actually quite simplified now. My recommendation would be to start a level 1 character instead and learn your discipline as you go along. I think level 60 tokens are best used when you already have a base understanding of the class (say you roll a commando when you've already got a mercenary).

Has anyone else experienced a delay when trying to buy the Outlander pack off Origin? They're telling me it could take up to 48 hours which is ridiculous considering it's just a code, presumably.

Well, right now 2x XP is going on so the progression rate will not be quite as fast once it's over in January. It's still much faster than at launch though. The normal, non-2x XP, rate allows you to level with just class story plus either planetary quests, heroics, flashpoints, ops, or PVP. The "correct" progression rate is class quests + planetary quests.

Holy poo poo, this double xp week is nonsense. Been blasting classes to see how they feel and I just hit 65 on my powertech after something like 18 hours /played. Class is fun, story is kinda boring. Every class has been fun so far, actually (Sorc, PT, Sniper, shadow) but the actual plots have been a mixed bag through chapter 1. Warrior next, I think. I'll actually meaningfully progress at some stage, but the powergamer in me is struggling to not take advantage of all this experience.
