You reconnect after the fight starts and it's a loss. All they need to do is make it that all your heroes are dead at the start of the fight and are only alive if you win... I live in perpetual fear of KHAKO and a couple others removing me because his power level 3000 Sidious just trivialises the bullshit so often to let me get 3 stars on something hard I want to sim ticket. I'm a generic 'Delara Exibil' because I didn't think of joining up with goons when I first downloaded it so I probably look like a pubby.

Just started playing on Sunday so I'm level 31 with a generic generated name. Ally code: 865-839-979. questions: - I have been running a LS squad of Plo Koon, Jedi Consular, Poe Dameron, Jawa and Ewok Scout. (with some DS snowtrooper or Talia). Is this an ok lineup that I can just dump all my materials and credits into? - Is it okay to just focus on LS until I get better DS heroes? (aiming for sidious at this point) - Is it okay to just use my SIM on Hard and Cantina battles?

Phasma's pretty much been the key point of my team for as long as I've had her. Nothing totally ruins someone's day like attacking with a resistance trooper and landing expose and +turn from it, popping that expose with anyone next turn and getting the resistance trooper to attack as the leader ability proc, landing an expose and gaining +turn, getting the trooper his turn again from from the +turn and shooting again, popping expose and landing expose again and having any other character attack with the leader ability proc to pop it. All of that happens in two characters' move time, potentially before anyone else gets a move in. Tanks just fall over dead instantly sometimes, and the stars align more often than they should. Android also got resistance trooper as their third character FYI.

Poe has been on some teams that absolutely wreck on defense. That expose is just brutal. Sure, Poe might be poo poo at lower levels/ gear/ skills etc. However, I'm almost positive over the next month or so as more people star up Poe, you'll see him used in higher level comps.

Using Phasma's second ability to get Chewie's turn faster to get a taunt off to save your dying healer is great, saves my butt all the time. Using Phasma's second ability when Chewie's got a taunt on already and is getting his rear end kicked so making his turn faster turning off his taunt is also great.

How does losing ladder rank work? Does someone have to specifically beat you or are you just pushed down if someone beneath you beats you or someone above you? I never seem to move a little bit, but maybe it only updates periodically.

Had a go at a 300-something 9000 power rating running luke as the leader, thinking I can handle a Luke. I get in and there's a Rey there too, with Poe tanking and Talia/Consul healing. Got wrecked pretty hard, expose and first turn by 2200+ damage Luke and Rey is bloody brutal, even their basics did around 1000. Couldnt land my only debuff to get rid of Poe taunt either and two healers on top of that = dead. Im starting to see the appeal of Sid.

If Talia attacks, she heals, if Chewie attacks, he can drain their turn meter etc. If you're finding yourself just starting, grab the Genosian soldier in the squad cantina. He's starts as a 1* but he's easy to farm, shits out a ton of damage and is pretty tough to boot. I'm only about a week into this game but at 3* and level 45, he crits quite regularly for about 2k

I think I got to the last fight of my Galactic War and ran into a Poe/Chewie team with a Genosian Elder providing Offense Up. Couldn't focus anyone down cause the tanks kept Taunting, Poe Exposed half my team and with Offense Up my guys were blowing up in 1-2 hits each. I really need someone with Ability/Heal Block. About 1/3 the way to Sidious and Luminara.

Today was lucky. I was doing my dailies and did a Bronzium Card pull and pulled 4* Old Daka. What's more is I was 56 shards into collecting her so I'll be able to upgrade her to 5* probably tomorrow. That kind of changes my lineup.

I bronzed up 1 guard shard today  (you lucky fuckers) On the plus side I'm about 15 shards away from having a 5 star walking carpet on my team, If only I could get a good attacker up too... Maybe Ahsoka? Dont require many shards to lvl and I got her at 2* The Magnaguard is tempting with all the jedi running around, but he doesn’t work on Sith, Right?

Hey, muchos gracias to whomever mentioned sending waves of chumps at people in galactic warfare. I don’t know if I ever would have noticed the ‘retreat’ option hidden in the upper left, much less the way it impacted GW gameplay. It definitely encourages having a roster that is both broad AND powerful. Someone mentioned hoping the chump squad could kill a single enemy unit. That’s asking way too much in my opinion, I levelled up my 1 star ewoks and clone troopers and all I ask them to do is soak up a single turn’s worth of taunts and special attacks while making the Whilhelm Scream and panic’d R2D2 noises before retreating. If they manage to successfully hurt the other squad, that’s just icing. Then my A-Team comes in, snipes the main DPS, and then can whittle down the tanks and supports at their leisure. Very useful (to me) when you’re to the last 4 battles.

Yes, thanks all for the galactic war tips. I had to use the force-close method a few times to get around a Sidious led team but thanks to my new Daka I was able to manage my first ever clear! It's a bit tedious baiting the AI for some teams but totally worth it in the end. I'll have a 4* Phasma later today for my troubles.

More Dark Side units should really have "vampiric" style self/friend healing or remove positive buff get heal yada yada. It's a little weird that the "Damage enemy Get Heal" is so common for the light side healers in comparison. You'd think they'd lean more on the self-sacrifice vs selfishness if they'd want to be thematic and still have Dark Side healing. Or just make a dark side Coffee Barista. Maybe some form of robot healer (more Dark Side Robots right now) that does +X% heal of other robots vs -Y% heal of living people (there's that awesome looking black 3-CPOish droid or... G0-T0). ...just add all the droids, ever. Roll out the BD-3000, Techno Union Team

Honestly, Daka is barely a healer. Her heal sucks. Great character, but just not for the heal  It's weird (or cool?) when you think about it. Dark side has basically no tanks with taunt (only 1, a storm trooper I believe) and very few healers. Light side has many tanks with taunt and many healers. Perhaps the devs are trying to make the point that the dark side is all about death and destruction.

The Royal Guard really should have a manual taunt. Savage Opress could have a taunt I guess, fits the character. He or Maul, but then I'd have to bring those guys. Uhh, guess there's the vanilla Stormtrooper taunt... Maybe Grievous will have a taunt whenever they add him. With the right sound effects. Twice as effective vs Jedi!
