Shotgun + Double flash/concussion + scavenger = enraged enemy team. They almost always quit the next round, and/or pull out their own shotguns to 'counter' you (but they're not running gung ho grenade spam, so they ain't countering poo poo ). Tac mask sucks when you run into it though

I may only get hit with a tac every fourth game, but when I do it's amazing. There's something to be said for running flak/hardwire/tac and invalidating a lot of other pick10 choices.

I regret it every single time I take flak jacket off. Protects from too much stuff - lethals, specialist weapons, scorestreaks. And pubbies love them some grenades so yeah, it's on basically every class.

(Blind eye) My perk set up with shottys is FJ/Ghost/HardWired/Deadsilence. My I should try Tac mask with it instead.

Scavenger + smokes + thermal basically amounted to all the special task reticle unlocks in just a couple GameStop afternoon. And a lot of pissed off pubbies. Scavenger might have to be my third perm unlock.

I'm moving closer to using SMGs exclusively in this game. I'll pull out the M8 or XR-2 on Hunted or Havoc but for the vast majority of engagements subs are just better.
