In terms of the games themselves aging, I've never played DKR, but MK64's controls and handling are janky as hell when compared to other installments of the franchise. I'd pick MKDS or Double Dash or MK8 over it.

Doesn't help matters that DKR uses actual 3-D models for the racers whereas Mario Kart 64 just used sprites. I have fond memories of both from when i was younger but i'll admit Mario Kart looks slightly better because of those sprites.

Paper Mario holds up okay on the N64. So do Spyro games on the PS1. That's about it though.
