yeah it's a good explanation, and I know there are all kinds of reasons to watch speedruns. for me the runs I like are fairly fast paced, high execution, demanding and repetitive, or whatever, where it's more like a fighting game maybe. so I don't really get 'tired' of games like super metroid and sm64 for the same reason I didn't get tired of watching brood war for 10 years

I never got why people are complaining about people sharing their own experiences dealing with cancer with these donations. I think it's nice that people are willing to open up and point out why it's a really important cause, and feels more genuine than the "yeah my cousin did mission work one time five years ago" comments that the MSF donations tend to get for SGDQ.
