Also there are some really dumb design decisions, like legendary enemies that always regenerate back to full health once they dip below a certain point in their health. In the long run I think I would've been better off without it, because nothing about it really stands out as being super great, just kinda okay. I bought it at launch for full price and I probably should've waited until the inevitable GOTY edition that would have all the also-inevitable expansion packs and DLC bundled with it.

I would have just eventually played New Vegas, which sits untouched in my Steam library, but I got the pip boy edition as a xmas gift. I think the few hours this afternoon are the most I've played of any Fallout game, though I might have played more of 2 than I recall.

The only thing that persists is the random and completely pathetic chest loot at the end of areas but everything else is much better. If it means anything I really enjoyed going full melee and grabbing all the drug related perks.
