Will the inhabitants of the Gooniest manor be able to defeat a boss tonight, or will it be another string of near TPKs in Darkest Dungeon? Following that, Space P.I. and his brother continue to be confused by simple puzzles in Gemini Rue I don't think that Gemini Rue is a bad game, and it is nice to see an adventure game that's played completely straight rather than having strange out of place humour (Beneath a Steel Sky, I'm looking at you), but the puzzles aren't working for me.  So, a few changes tonight: 1. I'm going to be streaming this game on Twitch instead of Hitbox, at the above link. 2. Open commentary night, where anyone can call me on Skype and join in on the stream. 3. A brand new mic setup which means there will be no audio feedback whenever I do console games. Let's see how it turns out as I play the sixth title in the Kiseki franchise, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel. We're continuing this game. We're continuing to stream on Twitch. Oops, running late again, so no Christmas intro today.  Just a heads-up that Ben and I will soon be starting Harvest Moon Boy & Girl (aka "Back to Nature but being allowed to pick a girl this time") for the maids-a-milking thing. Check it out if you're into that kind of thing.Edit: Done! Oddly enough, the game I figured would be too slow to make a good stream had a pretty steady crowd.  Guess it helps when there's two of you; Ben was playing so it freed me up to keep the chat going. We also had a Natsume community rep stop by, which was pretty cool. Guess when it's a Saturday there's time to check out newer stream channels.  I think that also marks the first confirmed person to ever show up by seeing our Tweet and not the post here or from the Twitch directory, heh.

So today we're having a look at underwater early-access survival-em-up Subnautica. Live at http://www.hitbox.tv/Angrymog Stream over. We built a tiny base, and a tiny submarine. We ate fish called Reginald and Gary. We lost our food stockpile due to destroying the locker it was in - I thought it would just dump the contents on the ground, but it just destroys them instead. Our tiny base got flooded a couple of times, but bulkheads made the second time less annoying. A wierd sea-cow type fish looked like it was trying to mate with our base. Also, there are many many bastard fish out there. Tomorrow's stream will be looking at another aquatic early access game - Salt. The end is in sight! For the "Lords-a-leaping" day, we ended up going with Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Can't get much more regal than Alucard, and boy does he do a lot of jumping. We've actually played this one before; one of my favorite PSX games in fact. We'll be doing the Dracula X Chronicles version, and playing it in "Luck mode," since I've never done that before. Starting in about 5 minutes. Edit: D'oh, thanks for the heads-up, Turtle. Link is this as always! If anybody was expecting Mario for this one, well, we'd thought about that too; but it seems a lot more fitting for day 11, heh. Edit 2: Done! Got off to a really rocky start between technical problems (Rondo of Blood worked in PPSSPP, but not SOTN  ) and not knowing just how weak Luck mode makes Alucard, but we eventually pulled through and I stopped off just after finishing the Chapel.

Whew, wasn't sure I'd be back in time and Ben had to stream solo again, but I'm here! Tonight, for the penultimate day of Christmas (feels so long ago already now, doesn't it?), we're celebrating Piping, which means Mario, of course! We have the Mario All-Stars + World going, probably going to run Mario 3 but feel free to let Ben know if you prefer 4 (or 2, you weirdo) or Lost Levels or something. Come on by! What's that, I left out the pipers part? Eh, close enough. It's less of a reach than some of the games we've had to come up with. Edit: Ended up being Mario World, and we made it about halfway through, bonking Ludwig in the head after a couple deaths in the castle. We'll probably run a poll or something for people to vote on which Christmas series games they'd want to see us finish.
