I dunno, I kinda get into it when these like, bizarrely consummate professionals create this tense, golflike atmosphere for playing Mario. It's still engaging to me, but in a way different manner than with Mario Maker.

It's a long game and it's fine to not like to watch speedruns of long games but that doesn't mean they aren't quick.

What was both good and bad about this run was that Akisto took a different route than everyone else. It was cool because it kept the suspense up but it was also bad because 3/4ths of the way through you had seen all of the levels people were going to do except for the last four or five.

Anything especially good happen this year yet? First thing I'll have a chance to watch is the awful games block, which always is a highlight. Particularly curious about Hotline Miami, Herocore and Iji as those are games I like. Also are archives up before the marathon is over?
