I couldn't say for sure, but as far as I know in the speedrunning community it is kind of frowned upon to keep stuff you discover secret for any length of time. So probably not. There's definitely been races where one of the players went for a (known) risky strat and it paid off, though.

All I can think about now is that one Counter-strike tournament where one team found this secret exploit to climb over part of the map and see the enemy team's spawn, and saved it until the tournament where they won effortlessly
