Is there anything worthwhile on Howl? I signed up the day of the announcement because I love earwolf but after burning through a few originals and some Maron stuff, I got tired of the lovely app and lack of original content. I feel like they've stopped talking about it during the ad segments, plus they still haven't made the old eps paywalled yet so....

What the Hell is up with Spontanenation's RSS feed? Every week for roughly the last month it has given me error messages when I try to refresh it on Mondays; they eventually fix it but then it just happens again seven days later. This doesn't happen with any other Earwolf podcast.

As for podcast app recommendations, I dig BeyondPod, mostly because it worked with Google Reader and now Feedly. It makes it easy to re-download only the shows/episodes that you haven't listened to after upgrading or formatting your phone. Also has anyone actually tried out Seeso? I tried to stream the UCB show last night and was getting all kinds of artifacts and stutters, didn't have any trouble playing netflix or any other streaming services. What's with all comedy based services running like poo poo? The audio was alright so I kept watching. I haven't had a problem with artifacts or stutters with Seeso, but I haven't used it too much. I am liking it a lot though since it has Dark Place, the greatest tv show.

It works pretty well for me and is very customizable as far as automatic downloads, queueing to playlist, delete upon listen, etc. Can make the settings for any podcast individually and have a global policy for the rest. Is the UCB show any good? Wondering whether to check out Seeso...

I don't think anyone could tell you, really. The reason I'm not even thinking about subscribing to Seeso is that they release their new stuff one episode at a time, weekly. Instead of letting me choose how to watch the thing I'd be paying for, they'd withhold it for the purposes of hooking me for a longer subscription. It just feels scummy when we have examples of a properly consumer-friendly version of the same thing already. So, at this point the whole UCB show wouldn't be up yet do I'm not sure if you'd be able to tell.
