For what its worth I appreciate the effort you've made. Not sure if its just me but I am finding the constant shrieking that he's a racist fuckwit (despite it being true) tiresome. That approach isn't going to convince him, or frankly anyone reading this who hasn't already made their mind up. How you get your point across is important - actually talking to someone, rather than shouting as a group at them, has a lot more chance of actually making a difference - may even make someone who is sympathetic to some of the things he has suggested reconsider...

Affordable Homes The council is about to begin construction of 29 new affordable homes across Haringey at the following locations. Nine of these homes (Fenton Road and Whitbread Close) will be available for shared ownership and the rest will be let by the council at affordable rents. http://www.haringey.gov.uk/housing/housing-options/buying-home/options-everyone/affordable-homes

Don't worry, that's just the number of affordable homes they're building in that development (if you can call 2 homes a development), overall they're building a grand total of... er... 29 new affordable homes for a borough of 267,000 people. Also, 9 of them will be shared ownership so they will presumably immediately be leaving the stock of council houses. e:f,b

Didn't David Cameron literally say "I think we're getting too hung up on all these definitions here. Tax credits don't count as benefits in the same way things like medicare and social security do, so they aren't required to be repaid by green card holders. Especially since I'm filing taxes joint married and my wife is a citizen, by far the largest part of the refundable tax credits I receive is due to her status as a full-time student.

Some of the food our sponsors gave us was loving disgusting though, especially like the produce. Like one time some grocery store gave us a box of literally rotting apples and the other volunteers were actually putting them on the trays until I yelled at them and made the chef open a big tin of fruit cocktail instead. First year undergraduates are taught not to trust it as a source. The very least you could do is at least read the references. As for the US immigration stuff, I notice you have a tendency to avoid answering some of the things I, a former US immigrant, and other US-oriented people in this thread, say. Like, you know, how you are not in fact coining it in the US if you're getting mad tax back from the US government.
