The game is about repopulating a dying solar system so it only allows reproductive sex. This means no gay humans, but you can play as one of the slime aliens that masturbate in a corner then reproduce asexually.

I think the recipe for some modicum of success is going to be integrating all the modern UI/quality of life improvements as seen in WoW and other similar titles, while keeping to solid core PVP mechanics, but abandoning the more archaic ones that DAoC had. In the end, the key is going to be striking a balance between the old and the new to create a game with actual growth potential.

I don't want Camelot to interpret 'PvP' to also mean 'annoying'. As long as I can fast travel in places that don't impede PvP and I can level up alone without a lot of issues then it'll be a decent game for me. Also I guess that PvM in the game isn't too intrusive. They've not really said much about fighting mobs, I don't know what to expect.

Cant wait for this to come out and everyone gets to see that Mythic can not make anything close to a good MMO. DAOC was so bad, it only worked because the choice was UO, Everquest, or DAOC. They had their chance with warhammer, it flopped hard. The balance was non nonexistent. It lived on because of the warhammer license, lets see how long lord of camelot works out for them.
