Is there any way to contribute to guild hall stuff if you aren't 80? Or is it all endgame mats and stuff? I'm in late-60s on my Rev and hopefully will be to the new content soon.

Rand Brittain posted:A class being stealthed 95% of the time actually sounds kind of cool and interesting. I know there's some scrapper spec with an awful amount of stealth as well. Also all those balances issues would be fixed if they simply split PvE and WvW/PvP skills. But I guess that's too hard.

they split it in gw1 and there were no issues. i don't know what the big holdup is this time around. it's, i don't know, an actually good idea.

I recall seeing a post on the GW2 subreddit that PvP is in one of the healthiest states in terms of users/viewership it's ever been in, so I wouldn't hold your breath on Anet taking precious precious programmers off to fix it.

In fact (the report continued, in a tone of unmistakable bewilderment), the Riddles all appeared to be in perfect health — apart from the fact that they were all dead.” ― J.K. The GW2 stream has significantly more viewers than that during the Pro League.

I didn't say I agreed with that assessment. It wouldn't be the first time the ANet team was speaking to us from a different reality.

I want to agree Generic Octopus but being honest I'm p. sure the art assets and coding aren't done by the same people.

They aren't the same people, but when you have a specific budget for the year, hiring more art people means hiring fewer coders

I like pieces of it: it's a cool puzzle. They just seriously need to take away some of the bite of falling.

Being honest here. That update post is not very inspiring. For example this seems like an obscene amount of time between raid wings. Or legendary sets. Or wvw is an actual game mode people will want to play. Or the fractal back piece. Oh by the way fewer updates. In fact that was depressing to read.

So I'm curious if the leak of WvW is what is making it take longer or if they are just taking forever and are still going to continue with their "the fix for WvW is to lock out 90% of the playerbase" I'm pretty excited for the glorious return of the real heroes of Tyria, anime kitten and brahmn.
