The site looks new, like less than 24 hours old according to the Twitter feed, but apparently athlete crowdfunding has been a thing for many years already, I think I recall some stories with Sochi Olympics and the US squad but the sites don't seem to host a good introduction like Kickstarter usually achieves. idk, I gave Canales 50€ and hope she does well, needs a bit more practice in front of a camera, but then :sporting celebrities:
