Yeah, Bowie had liver cancer and never said much (if anything) to anyone outside family. I did some sleuthing after hearing about it and I think his wife confirmed in a couple news articles.

Be very aware and put the fear of god in your dog if it snaps at a kid. The kids can't defend themselves. My dog was barky but never bit a person in his life. He didn't listen to everyone, but he always listened to me. He let me know when people were at the door, killed every UPS package delivered, and kept my feet warm. Good Dog, Good Boy.
