The McElroy brothers are not experts, but they do make a lot of loving podcasts. The trio of West Virginia-grown brothers began their funny-words-into-a-microphone careers in 2010 when they launched My Brother, My Brother and Me. Their goal was essentially to keep in touch after Travis and Griffin had moved away, and podcasting gave them a reason to talk every week. We’re all drat glad they did, because the three of them and their growing extended family are some of the funniest motherfuckers you’ll ever dang listen to. ----------------------- Twitter · Website Twitter · Website ----------------------- There used to be a big list of shows here but that poo poo's impossible to keep up with, so: you can find all the McElroy family of products at McElroy Dot Family. I'm pretty sure Griffin doesn't have his Twitch set to archive. They may be lost to the ether. It's pretty astounding how he still completely fails to grasp the how heat actions work.

Good podcasts and good videos from good people. I'm slowly working my way through the MBMBAM backlog, at episode 115 or something like that- but I need to step up my game and listen to them more often or I'll never keep up.

I missed the first few minutes of the second one. What I did not miss was him not understanding how to racing heat.

Yea, this is a really good OP but it should also include the gameplay overview series Justin and Griffin do. Justin put up a playlist of a lot of them but he hasn't been keeping it updated with the newer ones.

I was the one who submitted the Olive Garden Unlimited Pasta Pass to the Adventure Zone. The fact that they bought it and have never used it I feel is completely within character. Side note, it was originally much more expensive, and the limit was six weeks in game time, but I think they might have misunderstood that and thought I meant in real time. I've submitted other items, but most of them weren't as interesting, just McElroy-themed versions of regular items, like a mount named Dunkey and some healing items.

It was mentioned in the other thread, but drat, Griffin is nailing the poo poo out of the audio, and obviously enjoying it. It really steps up the production. His utter disdain for for d&d rules (and their all acknowledgement and dismissal of) is equally as great, since I know nothing about the game. Museum of elevators, motherfucker. Rule #1 of DnD, no elevators. Everyone knows that. It's only a matter of time before this whole charade comes toppling down. EDIT: That's also the only rule.

The idea that there is even strict lore to D&D is weird. I get if it's something where the lore is super developed and also actually interesting, but D&D just seems like one where you have some basic ideas and improvise from there.

My only complaint about Griffin's Podcast Dungeon Mastering is his kid gloves handling of character death. I'm totally with him not tpking the group but half the fun of the game is dying spectacularly (or pitifully). Other than that he's the best in the biz
