i use a logitech F710 i found in the bargain bin at best buy for $9 what a loving steal, has its own usb RF dongle, supported ootb in openemu and i think retroarch and uses aa rechargeables instead of lovely proprietary chowing gum pack size custom lithium garbage

the jonyroom now features adjustable colour temperature as part of the 9.3 update. when jony sleeps the room cools down to a nice orangey tint, but it's still very bright of course

flux actually instructs users to turn off automatic brightness in OS X because it causes flux to flicker like crazy. night mode doesn't have that problem. so it is actually significantly better than flux
