I've not been stressed at all, actually. I'm very good at what I do and naturally a calm person. I've just spent the week being very tired cause it takes a lot of energy.

I know I'm not stressed because everyday I look at myself in the mirror and shout through gritted teeth, "Everything is fine! Life is wonderful!" Then I calmly hyperventilate while reading the day's headlines.

I am really glad I work in a career where pay is a non-negotiable schedule based solely on experience, and promotion is so limited in scope and availability that it might as well not exist. Teaching owns.

Brazil is very different than a lot of other South American countries. He lives on one continent and Antarctica isn't a continent you can go visit. You leave Cape Horn on one of the few cruise lines that goes down there. That really only leaves 4 of them. Alternative options; Hong Kong before China decides to make them fully comply with Chinese law. Russia although that's iffy. Egypt is cool as long as you are comfortable with the fact people WILL be armed around you. Vietnam and Cambodia have lots of good places that haven't been ruined yet. Same with Bhutan.

I've heard great things about Bhutan, but it was all from very ~spiritual~ people so I dunno. It could still totally rule but I take their advice with a boulder of salt. Russia is really cool if you stick to St. Petersberg. Don't go to Moscow if you can avoid it. However, unlike many other places, almost no one in Russia speaks English so you need to figure that out. I'll hopefully be going there right after Kenya, come visit me and I will translate for you. Costa Rica is great too.

Bhutan has those kind of temple views that all the spiritual people geek out over, but even if you aren't sprout all its god drat amazing. It's a bit touristy, but take a hot air balloon ride to see the shrines

Okay, so, I tried to organize a bar meetup with someone cool I used to work with. They bailed yesterday at the last minute but they did it through a group message with me and someone whose number I don't have; apparently they invited someone else too (this is totally fine with me, it wasn't a date or anything and given the circumstances it was probably someone I know). At that point the mystery person texted me one-on-one asking if I wanted to meet up with them the next day (today). It was waaaay too late to ask who they were, the conversation had already gone back and forth naturally for a while, I had been hoping for them to drop a clue. I said yes. I am meeting them in 20 minutes. I have no idea who I am meeting. I'm kinda excited actually, it's like a mystery adventure. We're meeting at a barcade.
