it's pretty weird to think that I attended church every friday at school, sang religious songs every other day at school, sang in a choir etc. for years and nobody assumed or thought this would impart any religious values whatsoever and nobody ever even inquired as to whether I believed any of it having a lot of religion around but not taking it very seriously owns imo

if I could I think I'd get rid of catholic confirmation retreats some weird poo poo went on those and I don't mean like teens having sex stuff (though I'm guessing someone, not me was doing that) but just bizarre group confessional stuff though the person in charge of that program was a charismatic catholic and he was definitely on my poo poo list
