So everybody's familiar with those stupid STDH stories about the atheist professor? Specifically about the one where the professor drops the chalk? Well someone decided to take that text and just transcribe it into a 5 loving minute long video. https://www.facebook.com/tashaeswaby/videos/769495383088113/ It's literally just the text verbatim with some piano music thrown in.

Yeah, I didn't mention that this is also my racist, Conservative uncle who always is posting about how terrible Trudeau is and how refugees have it so good. You know the type. As mentioned above, he figures basically all slang that he doesn't know is from the rap.

TotalLossBrain posted:Don't forget about the Davis Besse nuclear power plant in Ohio. It was very close to a serious reactor problem in 2002 when it was discovered that the reactor pressure vessel (containing active fuel rods undergoing reaction) had eroded to less than 1/4 inch of stainless outer cladding due to really lovely maintenance. As usual, management had been warned about the problem multiple times and promptly ignored it. How can you ignore something like that when you're managing a loving nuclear power plant.

Man, the real money is in holistic memory stuff. The LESS crystals in the water the better. You're wasting your money just leaving those crystals in there.

Blue is an old friend of mine who converted to Islam about ten years ago. Red is some guy he knows, I have no idea how, but every single day Red posts something super ignorant about Muslims and every day Blue calls him on it and makes reasoned arguments and Red will either double down on his ignorance or just not respond and post something ignorant again the next day. I don't know if Blue is a glutton for punishment or if he just has the patience of whatever's Islam's equivalent of Job is. Today, for variety, they argued about something else.

This is a fun one... Shares From Your Aunt is a fun and obviously satirical Facebook page which I think I found from a previous incarnation of this thread. Recently whoever runs it has done a crowdfunding event to pay for a billboard in Iowa that contains an obviously-on-purpose spelling mistake in the usual style. And that loud "Whoosh" you just heard was the Daily Mail totally not getting it or spending even a minute to do some research. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ring-error.html

That is where the comparisons STOP! A strawberry taste totally different than a tomato even though they are both red fruits (yes a tomato is a fruit).

I've had to review six-inch thick printouts which were for fairly moderate programs, so I can easily believe one person could churn out a five-foot stack. At least half of it is likely to be comment blocks.
