TBH I want more things to do at end-game that don't involve scheduled raiding. One thing that would help a lot is cross-realm grouping for raids and flashpoints.

I finally gave this game an actual shot, started with Bounty Hunter. I like playing it like KOTOR3. Approx. how long are the stories? I already want to jump into another one!

I also tried the referral link in the OP and didn't get anything for it. This is a A LOT of game for F2P. The only extra things I actually want are some of the locked races... Sith Pureblood and Mira specifically. I had an email on my first character and when I opened it it exploded into like 10 pieces of cool looking gear with no stats, and that's is pretty mean to a F2P account that can't even access the goddamn bank, though.

Depends on how fast you are at killing stuff. It took me 80 hours to do all story stuff other than 7 operations and a related quest chain with a character which does have neither stealth nor any decent area of effect damage abilities. The unique story sections (later part of the game is the same for all, minor variations asides) should last 40 hours per class, give or take a dozen.

That's so much goddamn game. I am going to probably go through as much of the stories I can and just delete the characters when I'm finished, since I can apparently only have 2 at a time. I started with Bounty Hunter and have been enjoying it, and really looking forward to Smuggler, Agent, and the crossovers between Knight & Warrior.

I think you can make characters 'inactive' when you're done with them so they don't count towards the 2 limit and you won't have to delete them that way.

I'm pretty sure that's all the story stuff including the expansions and the stuff surrounding the endgame dailies and stuff. You can knock out a class story in a dedicated weekend or two.

You should, I'd love more green colours for my republic-side gun users in particular. I think you let slip that you were playing around with a green crystal similar to the farmhand crystal you did recently, any chance we might see that soon? ;)

I've found that the only green that looks like the blasters the Republic NPCs have is the green core crystal which is okay but because the core isn't white/light green it looks really weird in some of the projectiles like Boltstorm or the targeted AoE thing that Commandos get. The plain green crystal is a little too yellowish and doesn't look right :spergin:

Well depends on if you care about raising companion influence. If you're a serious crafter you'll probably want to get one companion to 50, but if you just need a companion for combat help, 15-20 is high enough to do most anything.

Nope. You can do any heroics, anywhere. The loot you get scales to your level--if you're level 50 and doing Dromund Kaas heroics, you'll get 148-level gear.

And the names of the gear you get are fun, because they hint at where you're "supposed" to be. I love getting "Yavin"-labeled gear when I'm on Nar Shaddaa.

I only do crafting to sell mats for money. I'm guessing I am better off just running those heroics and selling the poo poo in the boxes. Can you sell the box itself?

If you want to make money off heroics, get a group together (better rewards than solo) and run all of them. That'll get each of you around 1 million and takes ~2 hours if you do all the bonus content. Run missions with your comps while doing this to maximize profit.

I just saw that on the other page I think. Not a bad idea. Definitely a pretty good return for 2 hours. Dumb question, but do you run the missions together, or does everyone split up?

Do regular quest rewards scale XP-wise, or only heroics? As in, could I skip a bunch of quests on Balmorra, get to level 58 or so, then go back to Balmorra and do them and they would give appropriate XP to my level?

Set your companion to heal and they are trivial if a bit tedious, depending on your class and gear and stuff. You get better rewards in a group but groups aren't necessary.
